NFL WEEK 9 IS HERE, and I’m ready to print money and hand out some winners to you all!!
As a whole, week 8 was a solid one for me as I went 2–1 on my best bets (see below for my week 8 slate):
The Seahawks & Dolphins were undoubtedly my favorite picks last week. Looking at the Seahawks game, I loved them at -3 against the 49ers after coming off a primetime loss to their division rival Arizona Cardinals. For me, while I don’t love the Seahawks defense, I felt that the 49ers were way overvalued in this game. I’m bearish on the 49ers due to the fact that they are playing extremely injured right now and are missing some very key players at the skill positions. I also love to bet on Russell Wilson who is looking like the mid-season MVP through 8 weeks. This was a LOCK🔒
In terms of the Dolphins bet, I placed this bet the moment I saw the line come out. The Dolphins were +3.5 UNDERDOGS at home against a Rams team that was on a short week. Not only that, the Rams had to travel across the country and play in the 1 pm ET window (10 am PT). These two reasons were more than enough for me to love this play because it is hard enough to play in the early window after traveling across the country… BUT, to also be on a short week against a Dolphins team who has been playing competitively all year was what set it over the edge for me. This was another LOCK🔒
I won’t even speak on why I chose to bet a game where the Dallas Cowboys were playing, but I did and lost. I don’t have much to say about this one other than the fact that the Cowboys are now the laughing stock of the league and don’t have a QB. I will be staying as far away from this team as possible in future weeks!
