Yesterday, we (Interns) had our best performing tweet of the year.

Did we think this tweet was going to go viral? HELL NOO! Myself, I was expecting at best maybe 15 comments and that would of got me pumped up. I did not think we would reach over 1.2 K retweets and 1.3K comments. With major accounts such as @ArizonaCoyotes, @RayFerrarotsn, @GMillertsn, and many more retweeting us!

Let’s rewind and breakdown what went into the mindset of this tweet because the story is just as good as the tweet. I woke up at my usual time 7:00am and scrolling through twitter I noticed this tweet was trending.

I thought to myself, 1 -> this is an absolute fire tweet and 2 -> everyone knows 4, 5, and 6 is the only acceptable combination. But then it hit me, we need to do a sports version, I love hockey and there is a history of fans talking smack to each other about which NHL hockey jerseys are the best looking. I logged into my CANVA account and made the design. The first draft got instantly denied by Avery Chenier.

We decided to scrap the writing and post the tweet. Next thing you know about 15 mins in, BOOOOOOM ! The tweet started firing on all cylinders, we actually were getting so many notifications we had to mute our phones because of the constant buzzing. Everyone at OwnersBox was pretty shocked that two average interns actually did something insane to benefit the company. We have reached 193,123 impressions (and still counting), which is amazing for a new startup like OwnersBox. Yesterday, will definitely not be forgotten with more to come in the future.
